Russian forces continue to deliberately strike industrial and energy infrastructure in Ukraine’s Poltava region. For the third consecutive day, enemy attacks have targeted facilities of the Naftogaz Group in the area, causing tragic losses for the company.

During one of the latest attacks, a 55-year-old employee, Roman Chmykhun, was killed. He worked as an operator of technological installations. According to company representatives, this is already the second painful loss among staff during this extremely difficult week.

Emergency services are currently working at the sites of the strikes, dealing with the consequences of the shelling. Management and colleagues have expressed their sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased specialist.

It should be recalled that on the night of March 28, Russian forces carried out another attack on the Poltava region using strike drones. Enemy drones caused destruction to local industrial facilities in the Poltava district and also hit a residential building directly. Additionally, falling drone debris damaged windows in two households in the area.

In the morning, the enemy launched a repeated attack on an industrial enterprise. Emergency and specialized services continue to work at all impact sites, eliminating the consequences of the terrorist attacks and determining the full extent of the damage.
