A 13-year-old girl has died in the hospital following a Russian drone attack on a public recreation site in the Mykolaiv district. The teenager was among several civilians struck by falling UAV debris during the assault on March 28.
Details of the Incident
The tragedy occurred in the Voskresenske hromada (a local administrative community), where Russian aerial strikes targeted the area on Thursday. According to the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, the young girl was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but passed away the following day.
The strike hit a public recreation site, a location typically used by families and children. The falling debris caused widespread casualties among those present, turning a place of leisure into a scene of devastation.
Casualties and Hospitalizations
The attack left a total of 10 people injured, the majority of whom were children. The victims include:
Adults: Two women, aged 18 and 40.
Minors: Eight children (five girls and three boys) ranging in age from 10 to 16.
As of the morning of March 29, the medical situation remains precarious for several survivors. A 40-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl are currently in hospital in serious condition. Six other children remain under medical supervision, listed in moderate condition.
